This page explains how to ask EveryDrop to delete your account and the personal data we hold about you, what gets deleted, and what we are required to keep. EveryDrop is operated by EveryDrop SCIO, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Scottish Charity No. SC055401), regulated by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), and is the data controller for your information.
You can delete your data in either of two ways.
1. From inside the app (deletes your account and data).
2. By email (if you can't access the app, or want to delete data without closing your account).
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the personal data we hold about you, including:
By law we must keep certain records even after your account is deleted. Where we keep them, we retain the minimum needed and, where possible, remove details that identify you personally:
We do not keep your account login, journey data, cards, or badges after deletion. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers at any point.
We ask the providers who process data on our behalf (such as Google Firebase for authentication and our database, and Stripe for payment processing) to delete the relevant data when we delete your account, subject to the same legal-retention limits above. You can read more about who we work with in our Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions about deleting your data, or want to check the status of a request, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
